I've just started reading "Economics" by Xiaokai Yang. It promises to use rigorous mathematical techniques to examine "economies of specialization" and division of labor. This "New Classical" framework will be an alternative view, not just an extension, of the neoclassical model that focuses on economies of scale and resource allocation through the price system. Sounds cool.
